As an Investigator, Sheradan conducts internal investigations into alleged violations of University policies involving students, faculty, and staff. Sheradan thoroughly and confidentially investigates each allegation of misconduct by working collaboratively with associated parties while providing a fair and objective response.
Prior to joining Pitt, Sheradan worked as a police officer with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. For 7 1/2 years, Sheradan conducted investigations into alleged criminal activities and was a member of the Special Response Team (SRT) and Peer Mentorship (PMAP) team. Prior to that, Sheradan worked as a part time open-source intelligence analyst at the Delaware Valley Intelligence Center in Philadelphia, investigating domestic threats in the Delaware Valley region.
