We are proud of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and hope you take pride in being associated with a community of learners who work together to attain common goals. We encourage you to use these standards as a guide for how to ethically contribute to our community.
The Ethical Conduct Standards are intended for use by university members, including staff, faculty, and third-party vendors.
These standards were compiled from existing university resources, such as University Policies. Faculty and Staff Handbooks, and the Student Code of Conduct.
The CIE Office offers training on the University's Ethical Standards. To request a training, please email compliance@pitt.edu and provide details concerning the requested training including proposed dates and intended audience.
