CIE partners with stakeholders and other offices to help the University meet this mission and remain in compliance with federal, state, and local civil rights laws and University policies.
What we do:
- Support and oversee the University’s Title IX Coordinator and the Title IX and Sexual Misconduct response team
- Support and oversee the University’s Title VI Coordinator/Director of Equal Opportunity and the Title VI and Equal Opportunity response team
- Provide guidance and support to community members who report experiencing bias or harassment incidents
- Provide assistance and procedural clarity to community members involved in the complaint process
- Partner with the Office of Institutional Engagement and Wellbeing to coordinate response and support for community members involved in the complaint process
