Jasmyne Jackson

As an investigator, Jasmyne conducts internal investigations into alleged violations of university policies involving students, faculty, and staff. With a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism, Jasmyne ensures each allegation of misconduct is thoroughly and objectively investigated, in order to maintain the integrity of the University by providing a fair and objective response.

Prior to joining Pitt, Jasmyne served as a Regional Specialty Court Liaison with Superior Heathplan’s Judicial Program. In this role, she improved relationships and addressed barriers between the judiciary and the managed care organization that serves the Texas foster care system.  Jasmyne brings valuable experience from her tenure as a district parole officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. A proud Pittsburgh native, Jasmyne has served as an Intake Investigator for Allegheny County Children, Youth, and Families, and held positions within the Allegheny County corrections system, including initiatives funded by the Federal Second Chance Act (SCA) and Pre-booking division grants. Her journey in higher education began as a graduate assistant for Point Park University’s Criminal Justice & Intelligence Studies Department, where she discovered her passion for academia and the campus community.
